The tariff of the basic structure of the Tavantolgoi-Zuunbayan railway was approved based on order No. A/333 dated December 21, 2023, of the Minister of Road and Transport Development and the Law on the Budget of Mongolia 2024 on the flexibility of the tariff to be granted to transport organizations in connection with the transportation of a certain part of export coal transportation by rail and based on market demand, competitive discounts with other modes of transportation, and taking organizational measures to reduce costs.
Tarrif dicounts was developed in accordance with the Minister of Road and Transport Development's order dated March 6, 2024, "On Calculation of Discounts for Infrastructure Tariffs," and Clause 1.6 of Order No. A/154 dated August 17, 2020, "The owner of railway infrastructure shall pay the carrier discount."
