A shareholder meeting was held for “Mongolian Port Group” LLC, a subsidiary of “Mongolian Railway” SOSC. At the meeting, new members of the Board of Directors of "Mongolian Port Group" LLC were appointed, and they were assigned the obligation of resolving the project's financing and accelerating its implementation.

The Dongjiang Transport and Logistics Center will establish an optimal transportation network connecting Mongolia and Eurasia, increase transit transportation, reduce transportation and logistics costs of export and import goods, and accelerate goods circulation. Mongolian enterprises will be involved in production and operations under the preferential policy of the free trade port zone.

According to Government Resolution No. 152, the establishment of "Mongolian Port Group" LLC by the "Mongolian Railway" SOSC aims to develop a "Transportation and Logistics Center" within the period of 50 years on 10 hectares of land in the Dongjiang Free Trade Zone.
