DECIDED TO ESTABLISH “ZAMYN-UUD DRY PORT” BASED ON THE "REGIONAL LOGISTICS CENTER" OF "MONGOLIAN RAILWAY" SOSC

At the regular meeting of the Government on January 10, 2024, it was decided to establish an international quality "Zamyn-Uud Dry Port" based on the "Regional Logistics Center" located on the territory of Zamyn-Uud Sum, Dornogovi Province.
S. Byambatsogt, Minister of Road and Transport Development, was assigned to Mongolia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development, Ch. Khurelbaatar, and the Minister of Finance, B. Javkhlan, to calculate the capital required for the feasibility study, economic basis, and design of the dry port, and to take appropriate action to address the issue and complete the feasibility study, economic basis, and design by the second quarter of the year.
The relevant government members were instructed to negotiate with foreign and domestic partners on port investment and joint use.
